Welcome to Miscellany. This is where you'll find
stuff that doesn't quite fit anywhere else.
The better part of this section is devoted to online
journals. The intent here is to eventually develop a small series
of journal-based travelogues. In fact, most of the work is already
done, since the journals I have in mind were all written several
years ago. It's just a matter of collecting my wits a bit, and
pulling it all together. Piece of cake.
So what follows are essentially excerpts out of
some journals I took while in my fourth year ofcollege. I've made
every attempt to make it as interesting and readable as possible,
without actually changing any of the words I originally wrote
when creating these journals. It's a recipe for hubris, but I'll
take my chances.
Part
1: Berlin to Prague
This trip begins with a study tour from Denmark
to Berlin, and continues with brief escapades in Vienna, Salzberg
and Prague.
Part
2: Denmark to Florence
The account of my travels with Sage Essick across
the vast European continent, from Copenhagen to Florence. This
one is text only so far, since I haven't had time to get the images
online yet (3-05-99)
